The Who & What

Rose & Wrench is a delicate balance.

A balance between getting dirty while maintaining the craftsmanship and care to create beauty.

The rose, representing life, softness, and growth

The crescent wrench, representing the ability to adapt, roughness, and strength

One grown from the Earth, the other forged by humans.

As for me, I am always striving to improve the balance between the two.

Now, I am not going to get all woo woo with you about all the metaphorical ways I feel connected to this logo because I would rather you find your own relationship to the art.

The cool thing though is that we ALL have characteristics of both the rose & wrench. We all have the ability to grow, to care for others, to develop our own strengths and learn to be adaptable

Maybe you are a person who is busting their booty to create, teach, build, inspire with compassion and understanding and this logo makes you feel like a total badass. I know I feel that way in my R&W tee, it’s my go to ‘get it done’ outfit.

Maybe you just really like this art logo.

During the day, the team at Rose & Wrench is building, painting, and designing while in the evenings they’re watching rom-coms, eating popcorn, and crying over romantic encounters on-screen.

Basically, we get down and dirty, and we love the Hallmark channel.

As for the logo….. who designed it you might ask?

Well, me of course. I’m Trinity, the founder, painter, designer, website builder, illustrator, and all the things gal behind the scenes. I studied Theatre at Cal Poly SLO, moved to New York with two suitcases and a one-way ticket, and scenic painted for the fashion & entertainment industry for a handful of years. I had no idea what the heck I was getting myself into, but I was tossed into the industry, learning from my very talented Long Island gal pal & mentor, and started absorbing everything I could. As a scenic painter, I was never typically on the storytelling side, so sometimes I would make up my own stories about the pieces I was painting just to help me create something that didn’t feel lifeless. Am I a total weirdo or a genius, not really sure.

I found my way to Los Angeles after my time in New York. Then COVID hit, and we all know how 2020 has forced us all to adapt. The entertainment industry got hit extremely hard, putting many of my coworkers & myself out of jobs, and just like that I moved back to the Central Coast to be near family and to create this dream.

Rose & Wrench is the outcome.

A resilient brand representing the ones trying to find a delicate balance in their lives, in their relationships and most importantly in themselves
